Mass Choir

It is the mission of the Mass Choir to exalt God by utilizing our musical gift to sing His praises and tell of His goodness, love and kindness through songs. We are called to be pleasing to God and minister to the hearts of people; to set the atmosphere for praise and worship; to usher in the presence of the Holy Spirit as we enter into the worship service.

   - Mother Cynthia P. Watson

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
Psalms 95:1-2 (KJV)

The purpose of the Church Usher is to serve as doorkeepers in the house of the LORD. Ushers represent the Church in a very visible way. They are the first impressions of the Ministry. Ushers set the tone in preparation for the  service, and assist with the smooth operation during service.

Usher's duties include extending a friendly greeting to visitors & members. They  also seat the people, pass out programs, envelopes, fans and other items that are to be distributed to the congregation. Ushers assist in the collection of tithes and offerings.

-Sis Charmaine Ballard

Ushers

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.  Psalms 84:10 (KJV)

Rose Buds

Greeters play a vital role in forming a visitor's first impression of our church and, to some, their first impression of Jesus Christ. Our mission as a greeter is to commit to greeting everyone that comes through our doors with a smile, reaching out to them to make them feel welcome. Receive the people in a very hospitable manner before entering the sanctuary for worship and to hear the word of God.

Women's Ministry

As the women of the church, it is our duty to evangelize to the lost, make disciples of the repentant, serve the poor, care for the sick, meet the physical and spiritual needs of the people and show hospitality in the church and our community.

"Our spiritual foremothers transformed their communities, doing the very ministries that grew our church, and so can we."
